Assess Progress will be undertaking a National Programme of Peer 2 Peer 'Learning by Evaluation' for A-Level subjects from January 2023.
The programme's objective is to allow students to submit draft work for peer review and feedback while also reviewing the work of others nationally. This process is known to support improved cognition and support the development of improvement strategies in students.
As students are aware of the quality of work produced (by others), they can critically reflect on their learning in comparison. This supports them in improving their work quality before final submission to tutors.
The plan, do, review, feedback process reduces teacher workload as less student feedback is required from tutors in the presubmission phase. In addition, tutors can draw on the very best of the submissions (WAGOLL) to aid further teaching points, planning, and improvement strategies during taught tutor time.
AssessProgress are hosting The 'Great Big' Debate.
Peer Assessment is via 'TikTok style' video submissions for students in Yr 7-13
